At K Equestrian, we specialize in teaching competitive Dressage riders while welcoming novices eager to learn the fundamentals. Riders will develop a strong foundation in Dressage basics, including core maneuvers required for Green as Grass, Introductory, Training, and First Level tests.

Our program is designed for riders who own their own horses, as we do not offer school horses. This allows for consistent progress, individualized instruction, and a deeper partnership between horse and rider.

We’ve found that Dressage training also greatly benefits our hunter/jumper riders, enhancing balance, feel, and timing—skills that improve performance across all disciplines.

Whether you’re new to Dressage or an experienced competitor, our training supports advancement from riding at home to local schooling shows and recognized United States Dressage Federation (USDF) competitions. For seasoned hunter/jumpers, Dressage offers a powerful foundation for success in 3-Day Eventing.

To ensure the best fit and safest experience for every rider, all new students at K Equestrian begin with a private evaluation lesson. After one or more private sessions, riders may be invited to join a semi-private or group lesson with others of similar skill level—based on availability and trainer approval.

Group lesson spots are limited and placement is determined by our head trainer, Catalino González Carrero.
